Conax and Evolution announce exclusive partnership for North American cable TV market
Evolution Digital LLC, a leading supplier of digital solutions for bandwidth reclamation & next generation advanced set-top boxes, and Conax, a global provider of conditional access solutions, announce an exclusive technology partnership to integrate the Conax CA technology into a full range of DTA's & advanced Set-top boxes.

The depth and breadth of Conax's Conditional Access expertise enable Evolution to deliver the industry's most powerful conditional access solutions to North America," said Chris Egan, Principal, Evolution Digital, LLC. "By integrating Conax CAS7 conditional access into Evolution’s digital solutions, we can provide the high performance DTA and Set-top boxes that provide operators with state-of-the-art security and content protection."
As part of the partnership, Conax has chosen Evolution as exclusive supplier to the North American Cable TV market. Evolution will provide all product and in-country support for both end-users and integrators.

In addition, Conax and Evolution are working closely with CableLabs for the testing & certification of a CableCARD which meets the FCC requirements for separable Security. This product will be an Evolution product with Conax encryption and it will be available in Evolution's full range of tru2wayTM Advanced MPEG4 HD & HD PVR Set-top boxes. Availability is 1st Quarter 2009.
