Change of leadership in Conax

April 11th, 2008: Ernst Thue today announced his resignation as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in Conax. The Conax board will immediately start the process of finding his replacement. Terje Storhaug, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in Broadcast, will function as acting CEO until a permanent replacement is appointed.

“I respect Ernst Thues decision to resign. During his leadership the company has developed into an international leader with solid financial results. Conax will build on this position to secure future growth”, said Christian Albech, CEO in Telenor Broadcast and chairman of the Conax Board.

Conax will immediately start the process of recruiting a new CEO. Terje Storhaug will act as CEO until a new permanent solution is in place. He will also continue as CTO in Broadcast, and head the Technology and IS department.

Terje Storhaug has worked with Telenor since 1993. He has previously held positions as CTO in the Canal Digital Group, head of Technology at Tele-TV/Telenor CTV, CEO of Multimedialab, CTO at Zonavi and deputy CEO at Conax. His background comes from different technical positions in the Norwegian Armed Forces, where he worked with CCIS (Command, Control and Information Systems) both national and internationally in NATO.
