Faroese Telecom International to offer SMS services to Conax Pay TV operators

Building their DTT company Televarpið, Faroese Telecom faced a number of challenges, including the problem of finding a suitable SMS offering. Based in their experience in the industry, Faroese Telecom International (FTI) has designed and developed a subscriber management system (SMS) named PULS for Pay TV operations that is both cost effective and scalable.

Tróndur Djurhuus, the Vice President of Faroese Telecom and Director of FT International is pleased with the agreement with Conax. "First of all, we have had an excellent cooperation with Conax ever since we started with digital TV distribution back in 2002. Secondly, Conax has based on their quality, security and service achieved a prominent position as a CA vendor worldwide addressing the same market segments where we operate. This is of course something that will be to the benefit of FTI, but we also hope and believe that we can help Conax strengthning their offering by including our Subscriber Management System," says Tróndur Djurhuus.
