Conax provides content protection for Toya's digital TV operation
Conax AS, a leading supplier of conditional access technology for digital TV, has signed an agreement with the Polish CATV operator Toya Sp. Z.O.O for delivery of its Conax CAS7 system for Toya’s digital Pay-TV platform.

Toya is among the five biggest cable operators in Poland, situated in Lodz, the second largest city of Poland. There are 150.000 homes connected to this network in four cities. In addition to digital TV, Toya also offers VOIP and broadband services. Toya chose the Conax CAS7 end-to-end conditional access solution including messaging and verifier to protect their premium content. The Set-Top-Boxes from Global Technologies will incorporate Iwedia Technologies middleware. The installation of the system is planned to take place in July this year. In September, Toya will launch a total of 40 - 50 digital channels of different content to its subscribers.
