Conax supplies Conditional Access Technology to Türk Telekom
Conax AS, a leading supplier of conditional access technology for digital TV, will deliver the new Conax CAS7 system to Türk Telekom's cable TV operation

Conax has, through its partner in Turkey Broadcast Engineering & Production Ltd, been selected by Türk Telecom to supply Conax CAS7 to their Cable TV division. Türk Telekom provides all kinds of national and international telecommunication services in Turkey, and is by far the largest Cable operator in the region with 1.6 million subscribers.
'We are confident to have found in Conax a reliable long term partner for our CA needs. After thorough evaluation we selected Conax due to their superior technology and reputation as a stable supplier", says Mr. Mesut Kucukiba, Divisional Director, responsible for Cable TV in Türk Telekom.

It significantly strengthens our position in South Eastern Europe, following contracts in Albania, Bulgaria and Kosovo. Türk Telekom is also the third operator that recently has migrated to Conax from another CAS technology platform", he adds.
