Conax strengthens its focus on the Asian market

Conax AS, a leading supplier of conditional access technology for digital TV, has today announced that a new VP Asia position has been established to ensure the company's further success and focus on the Asian market.

Raza Ansari has been appointed Vice President Asia for this new-established position, with the responsibility of coordinating the company's sales and marketing activities in the region. Ansari has been with the company since 2001, working with building Conax's market position in Asia.

Conax has further strengthened its' Asian presence by focusing on the Korean market, whereby Daewoong Sohn has been appointed Sales Manger for Korea. Sohn was previously working in Miraeonline, a Korean provider of digital TV, high-speed Internet and newscasting via satellite. He will operate out of Seoul. With this new growth, Conax Asia is now present in Singapore, China and India, as well as Korea. The Asian activities will be coordinated from Singapore.
