Conax reinforces its focus in China and moves the office to Beijing

Mr. Roger Siow has been appointed as the new Chief Representative of Conax Beijing Rep. Office. The office in Beijing includes both sales, technical, marketing and PR personnel, and will be run by Mr. Roger Siow, who has more then 12 years of experience in the Asian broadcasting industry. He worked as an independent consultant in the same industry for two years before he joined Conax. Previous to that he was Business Development VP of Irdeto Access and Asia Sales Director of TV/COM International (a San Diego based company).

The Conax Beijing Rep. Office will be operative as from 1 January 2005.

The moving of the office and the recruiting of new personnel is all part in the process of strengthening the focus on Asia and China in specific. Raza Ansari was recently appointed Vice President Asia, with the responsibility of coordinating the company's sales and marketing activities in the Asian region. In addition to Conax's office in Singapore and the wholly owned subsidiary in India, Conax also operates out of Seoul, with Mr. Daewoong Sohn as country Sales Manager for the Korean market. The Asian activities are coordinated from Singapore.
