Conax delivers Conditional Access Services to WOW - World On Wireless Ltd. in Bermuda

Conax AS, a leading supplier of conditional access technology for digital TV, has signed a contract for delivery of conditional access services to World on Wireless Ltd. (WOW) of Bermuda.

World On Wireless Ltd. will provide a broad range of television channels from US, Canada and Europe using a UHF Wireless Cable System. WOW owns Bermuda's exclusive UHF Wireless Cable System license to provide TV channels of digital subscription television and the required capacity for two-way communications for high-speed Internet, data and telephony to all residences and businesses.

WOW will use the Conax CAS5 world class conditional access system to encrypt the digital signals and to control the services that are provided to each customer's Set-Top-Box. The Conax CAS5 system will be linked to WOW's Subscriber Management System that supports billing, customer information systems, customer invoices and management reports based on the services received by the customers.
